Comar 5P.i Advanced Casement Window, including Tilt and Turn
Meeting architectural demands; low U-values, matching slim sight lines for both the casement and tilt/turn, large glazing pocket for acoustic glass, secured by design and large sizes, this system delivers. Comar has incorporated the technology from the Comar 9P.i system into the Comar 5P.i window range, and are now launching the Comar 5P.i Advanced Casement and Tilt/Turn window system, creating the option for stand-alone high performance windows. The new high performance windows also integrate into Comar 9P.i Framing, with new profile solutions which allow open-in and open-out doors or windows in the same screen.
Comar 5P.i Horizontal Sliding Window
The latest addition to the Comar 5P.i suite, the Horizontal Sliding Window incorporates the trademarked P.i thermal efficiency providing low U-values, with an aesthetically pleasing finish. Developed for applications where high specification, elegant solutions are a key design factor, such as offices, apartments, hospitals and schools, it provides a unique solution where other window types would cause an obstruction, either internally or externally.
A polyamide track with reinforced nylon wheels / rollers, has a precision adjustment mechanism, with the rollers mounted on ball-bearings giving continual smooth operation of the sliding sash. This mechanism was tested in wet and sandy conditions over 200,000 open/close cycles. The strength of the system is proven to carry 220kg of weight per sash. Where safety is a concern, window restrictors can be fitted at increments to suit the application. The use of 38.5mm curved stiles and with all fixings and mounting are concealed. The fixing of handles and keep require no internal screws, and drainage holes are covered with discreet caps. This product is also available in dual colour, with different colours to the interior and exterior profiles.
Comar 5P.i Vertical Sliding Window
The Comar 5P.i Vertical Sliding Window system provides the assurance of low U-values with its energy efficient thermally-broken profiles. Vertical sliding windows whether required for new build or refurbishments need to give flexibility; large or small in size they must also deliver aesthetically. With its slim sightlines, the Comar 5P.i VSW can be manufactured to fit openings of 500mm wide and depending on wind-loading, up to 2800mm high. It is available in dual colour, from the RAL or Syntha-Pulvin selections, with different colours to the interior and exterior profiles.The window provides even more reliability and security features, beyond BS7950 which it has passed, including double-keep sash locks with concealed locking mechanism providing long lasting smooth operation as well as hidden locking.
